Thanks for dropping by! My name is Matisse, I’m a Boston and St. Louis-based theatre performer.
In May of 2025, I graduated from the Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University with a BFA in Acting, a minor in French, and recognition from the Gleich Honors College.

After living in Boston for a few years, I moved to the suburbs to study in one of the nation’s twelve French Immersion Programs located in public schools. Through that program I found a love for the language, which has transformed during my time at university into a passion and ear for dialect work.
The doors French has opened for me has also inspired me to continue studying additional language: I’m currently working on German and can boast a 650-day learning streak!
When I’m not in the rehearsal hall,
you’re most likely to find me listening to true crime podcasts, bullet journaling, or enjoying a bubble tea (or maybe all three at once if I’m feeling crazy!)
